Salamanca Market is open EVERY Saturday
from 8am until 3pm except when it occasionally falls on the 25th
April (Anzac Day) or 25th December (Christmas Day) in which case
the market will usually be held the following day; the Sunday of that
particular weekend. Stallholders
generally begin packing up at around 2.30pm so to experience the
best of the market, we suggest arriving prior to noon.
There are 300 stalls to see and this will take
at least couple of hours.
If you're looking at the stallholder map on
this site be aware that many stallholders change sites from
Winter to Summer, and that the casual stallholders may or might
not be in attendance on any given market day.
Enquiries relating to items you would like to buy can be sent to and we will provide whatever detail
is available to help you find something. The market changes week
to week and sometimes this means we can't track down the thing
you want but more often than not we can give you some help with
the assistance of the very helpful Council staff and the market
coordinator. |
